Possible Causes
Faulty outlet NTC sensor, Blocked exhaust duct, Loose sensor wiring, Defective control board temperature input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the dryer to cool before working near the exhaust duct.
- Clean exhaust system: Remove and clean the lint filter. Disconnect and clean the exhaust hose and wall vent to ensure free airflow.
- Locate outlet sensor: On vented Fagor dryers, the outlet NTC is often mounted near the exhaust outlet or in the rear duct. Access via the rear panel.
- Inspect and test sensor: Check the sensor and its wiring for damage. Measure resistance at room temperature and compare with specifications. Replace if open, shorted, or out of range.
- Check harness continuity: Verify continuity from the sensor connector to the main PCB. Repair any damaged wires.
- Reassemble and test: After replacing faulty parts and clearing blockages, run a test cycle to confirm that E14 does not reappear.
