Dryer door is difficult to close or pops open during cycle

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before adjusting hinges or latches.

• 1. Inspect latch and strike: Check the plastic or metal door catch and strike for wear or damage. Replace worn parts with Fisher & Paykel-compatible components.
• 2. Adjust hinges: Tighten hinge screws and adjust the door position so it aligns squarely with the cabinet opening.
• 3. Check gasket: Inspect the door gasket or seal for deformation that may prevent proper closure. Replace if necessary.
