  • Inspect the ribbon cable and wiring harness between the UI and main board.
  • Unplug and firmly reseat each connector; look for bent pins, corrosion, or heat damage.
• Inspect for damage:
  • Check the UI board for burnt spots, cracked solder joints, or moisture damage.
  • Check the main control board for burnt components or discoloration.
• Test continuity: With a multimeter (dryer still unplugged), ohm out the harness between the UI and main board to confirm no open circuits.
• Replace faulty board: If wiring is good and E11 persists, replace the user interface board first (most common), then the main control board if needed.
