Frigidaire dryer door pops open during cycle or will not stay closed.

• Inspect latch and strike:
  • Check the plastic door catch on the door and the metal or plastic strike on the cabinet.
  • If worn, cracked, or loose, replace the latch and/or strike.
• Adjust door alignment:
  • Loosen hinge screws slightly and adjust the door so it aligns squarely with the opening.
  • Tighten screws securely.
• Test closure:
  • Close the door and ensure it latches firmly without excessive force.
