Frigidaire dryer drum light does not turn on when the door is opened.

Safety First: Unplug the dryer before replacing the bulb or working on wiring.

• Replace bulb:
  • Remove the lens cover inside the drum.
  • Unscrew the bulb and replace with the correct type and wattage specified by Frigidaire.
• Check door switch:
  • If the new bulb does not light, test the door switch for continuity when the door is open/closed.
  • Replace the switch if faulty.
• Inspect socket and wiring:
  • Check for loose wires at the light socket and repair as needed.
