- Check for lint around heater:
- Remove rear panel and inspect heater housing for lint accumulation; vacuum thoroughly.

- Locate cycling thermostat and high-limit thermostat on the heater housing.
- Test for proper continuity and replace any that are stuck closed or out of spec.
- Verify drum seals:
- Inspect front and rear drum seals; replace if badly worn to maintain proper airflow.
