Dryer interior light does not work, but the dryer otherwise operates normally.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the light.

• Access light: Locate the drum light cover inside the drum. Remove the cover according to the manual.
• Replace bulb or LED module: Install the correct replacement bulb or LED module specified by Gaggenau.
• Check door switch: If the new light does not work, test the door switch light contact with a multimeter. Replace the switch if faulty.
• Inspect wiring: Check the wiring from the light to the control board for loose connections.
• Control board: If all else is good, the light driver on the control may be defective. Board replacement is optional if the dryer otherwise functions.
