Safety first: Unplug the dryer before working on moving parts.

Isolate the noise: Run the dryer briefly and listen to locate the noise source (front, rear, or base). Then disconnect power.
Access drum supports: Remove the top and front panel to expose the drum, rollers, and idler pulley.
Inspect rollers: Spin each drum roller by hand. Replace any that squeal, wobble, or feel rough.
Check idler pulley: Spin the idler; if noisy or stiff, replace it. Do not lubricate sealed bearings; use new parts.
Inspect front glides and felt: Check the front drum support glides and felt seal for wear or damage. Replace if worn through or missing.
Reassemble and test: After replacing worn parts, reassemble and run a test cycle to confirm the noise is gone.
