Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Dirty condenser unit, Blocked internal air ducts, Weak blower fan motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before internal cleaning.
- Clean lint filter: Remove and clean the lint filter after every load. If coated, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Clean condenser: For condenser/heat pump models, remove the condenser from the lower front compartment and rinse thoroughly from the rear until water runs clear. Let it drain and dry before reinstalling.
- Vacuum internal ducts: Remove front or rear panels and vacuum lint from ducts, blower housing, and around the heater/heat pump.
- Check blower operation: Run the dryer with the front panel off (only if you can do so safely) and verify strong airflow from the blower. Replace the blower motor or wheel if weak or noisy.
- Load size and settings: Avoid overloading and use appropriate dryness level settings. Mixed fabrics may require longer cycles.
