How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing the control area.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for 5–10 minutes to allow the electronics to fully discharge, then reconnect and test.
- Inspect control panel: Remove the top cover to access the user interface board and main control. Check that all ribbon cables and harness connectors are fully seated.
- Check for moisture or corrosion: Look for signs of liquid ingress or corrosion on the UI board and connectors. If present, the board may need replacement.
- Button/touch test: With the dryer powered, test all buttons or touch areas. If some are unresponsive or stuck, the UI panel may be defective.
- Replace UI board if needed: Transfer any overlays or knobs to the new board, reconnect harnesses, and reassemble.
- Main control: If a new UI does not resolve E11, the main control board may have a communication fault and require replacement by a technician.
