How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer.

Step-by-step checks:

  • Inspect drum seals: Remove the front panel and inspect the front and rear felt seals around the drum. Look for tears, missing sections, or heavy contamination.
  • Check for debris: Remove any foreign objects trapped at the drum edges.
  • Clean drum: Wipe the inside of the drum with a mild detergent solution and dry thoroughly.
  • Replace seals: If seals are worn or damaged, remove the old felt and adhesive, and install new OEM felt seals using high-temperature adhesive as specified.

Note: Damaged seals can also cause clothes to snag or get burned.
