Restricted Airflow or Moisture Sensing Inefficiency
Dryer takes too long to dry clothes; cycles run for a very long time and laundry is still damp

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Blocked condenser/heat exchanger, Dirty moisture sensor bars, Overloaded drum
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the dryer before cleaning internal components.
- Clean lint filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter after every cycle. Wash with warm water and dry if it is heavily coated.
- Clean condenser/heat exchanger: Remove the condenser unit and rinse under running water to clear lint from the fins. Allow to drain and dry before refitting.
- Clean moisture sensor bars: Wipe the metal sensor bars inside the drum with a cloth and white vinegar to remove residues that can affect sensing.
- Check load size: Avoid overloading the drum. Dry medium-sized loads for best airflow and sensor accuracy.
- Test timed program: Run a timed drying program. If drying performance improves on timed mode but not on automatic, the moisture sensing system may need further diagnosis.
