Possible Causes
Loose connection between user interface board and main PCB, Faulty control panel PCB, Damaged communication cable, Main PCB fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing the top cover or control panel. Avoid static discharge to electronic boards.
- Access control panel: Remove the top cover and any screws securing the front control panel. Carefully pull the panel forward.
- Check connectors: Locate the ribbon cable or wiring harness between the user interface board and the main control board. Reseat both ends firmly.
- Inspect for damage: Look for pinched, cut, or burnt cables. Replace the harness if any damage is visible.
- Visual PCB check: Examine both boards for obvious burn marks, corrosion, or swollen components. If present, the affected board should be replaced.
- Power reset: Reassemble, reconnect power, and perform a power reset by unplugging for 5 minutes, then plugging back in. If E07 persists, the control panel PCB or main PCB likely requires replacement by a professional.
