Haier dryer shows dE and will not start; door appears closed

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any panels.

• Check door alignment: Ensure the door closes evenly and the gap around the door is uniform. Adjust hinges if the door is sagging.
• Inspect latch and strike: Examine the latch mechanism on the cabinet and the strike on the door. Replace any cracked or worn parts.
• Test door switch: Access the door switch from behind the front panel. Press the actuator and listen for a click. Use a multimeter to test continuity when the switch is pressed. Replace if faulty.
