Possible Causes

Full condensate water tank, Blocked tank level sensor, Kinked or blocked drain hose (if plumbed), Faulty tank float switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the dryer before removing the water tank.

  • Empty water tank: Pull out the condensate tank (usually at the top left or bottom). Empty all water and reinstall firmly until it clicks.
  • Clean tank and sensor area: Rinse the tank to remove detergent residue. Check the float and level sensor area for debris and clean gently.
  • Check drain hose (if connected): If your Haier dryer is connected to a drain, inspect the hose for kinks or clogs. Clear any blockages and ensure proper slope.
  • Test operation: Reinsert the tank and start a cycle. If TANK reappears immediately, the float switch or level sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
