Haier dryer makes a rattling or clinking noise during operation

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before internal inspection.

• Check drum and baffles: Look inside the drum and under baffles for coins, buttons, or other objects. Remove any found.
• Inspect lint filter housing: Remove the lint filter and use a flashlight to look down into the housing. Remove debris with a vacuum or long-nose pliers.
• Access blower housing: Remove the front or rear panel (model dependent) to inspect the blower wheel. Clear any objects and ensure the wheel is tight on the shaft.
• Tighten hardware: Check and tighten any loose screws on panels, baffles, and internal brackets.
