Buttons on the dryer control panel do not respond or respond intermittently

Safety first: Disconnect from mains before working on the control panel.

• Power reset: Unplug for several minutes and reconnect to rule out a temporary software lock.
• Clean around buttons: Wipe the panel surface to remove detergent or moisture that may affect touch controls.
• Inspect internal connections: Remove the control panel and reseat the ribbon cable to the UI board.

If specific buttons consistently fail, the keypad or UI board is likely defective and should be replaced.
