- Inspect heater area: Remove the rear panel and visually inspect the heater housing for lint accumulation or burnt debris. Vacuum carefully.
- Check for foreign objects: Look for plastic items, labels, or fabric pieces that may have contacted the heater or drum.
- Inspect motor: Smell near the motor area. If the motor casing is discolored or smells burnt, it may be failing and should be replaced.
