Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer and allow it to cool before accessing the rear panel or heater housing.
- Check basic airflow: Clean the lint filter and condenser/exhaust duct thoroughly. Restricted airflow can cause overheating and blown fuses.
- Access heater assembly: Remove the rear panel to expose the heater housing. Note the wiring layout or take a photo.
- Test heater and fuses: Disconnect heater terminals and test for continuity with a multimeter. Test thermal fuse and thermostats on the housing. Replace any open components with Hansa-specified parts.
- Inspect wiring: Check for burnt connectors or loose spade terminals and repair as needed.
After replacing faulty parts, reassemble and test a short cycle. If there is still no heat, the control board or heater relay may be defective.
