Possible Causes

Dirty or coated moisture sensor bars, Broken moisture sensor wiring, Faulty moisture sensor module, Control board sensor circuit failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing any panels or accessing wiring.

  • Clean the sensor bars: Locate the two metal strips inside the drum (usually near the lint filter opening). Clean them thoroughly with a soft cloth and a bit of white vinegar or mild detergent to remove fabric softener residue.
  • Inspect wiring: From the front panel or lower access, trace the wires from the sensor bars to the control board or sensor module. Check for broken wires or loose connectors.
  • Check for short circuits: Ensure the sensor bars are not bridged by foreign objects (coins, metal pieces) and that the mounting screws are not causing an unintended short.

If cleaning and wiring checks do not resolve E07, the moisture sensor module or main PCB may be defective and should be tested or replaced by a technician.
