If you are not confident in your ability to perform this repair safely, we strongly recommend contacting a professional technician.
Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer. Electronic board work should only be done by persons familiar with ESD precautions and mains safety.
- Check supply and wiring: Verify the wall outlet voltage is correct and stable. Inspect the main power cord and terminal block for signs of overheating or loose connections.
- Inspect control board connections: Remove the top cover and control panel to access the main PCB. Reseat all multi-pin connectors firmly.
- Visual inspection of PCB: Look for burnt areas, cracked solder joints (especially around relays), or swollen components. Do not operate the dryer with visibly damaged electronics.
If E09 remains after basic checks, the main control board will typically need to be replaced with the exact Hansa part number. This is usually a level-5 repair best left to a qualified technician.
