Possible Causes

Incorrect mains voltage, Loose power connector on control board, Faulty line filter (EMI filter), Internal power supply failure on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the dryer before opening any covers. Mains voltage is lethal.

  • Verify mains supply: Plug another appliance into the same outlet to confirm power. Use a multimeter to check voltage if you are trained to do so.
  • Inspect power cord and terminal block: Remove the rear cover over the terminal block. Check for burnt or loose wires. Tighten screws if necessary (with power disconnected).
  • Check line filter: Locate the EMI filter where the power cord enters the dryer. Inspect for burning or swelling. Replace if damaged.
  • Reseat PCB power connector: Access the main PCB and ensure the power input connector is fully seated.

If E10 persists and no external power issue is found, the internal power supply section of the control board may be defective and the board will need replacement.
