Possible Causes
Open heating element, Blown thermal fuse on heater housing, Failed cycling thermostat, Heater relay failure on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer and allow it to cool before working near the heater.
- Verify power supply: For 220–240 V models, ensure full voltage is present at the outlet. Low voltage can reduce heating.
- Access heater assembly: Remove the rear panel to reach the heater housing, thermal fuse, and thermostats.
- Test components: Use a multimeter to check continuity of the thermal fuse, high-limit thermostat, cycling thermostat, and heating element. Replace any open components with Hisense-compatible parts.
- Inspect PCB heater relay: If all heater components are good, the relay on the main PCB may not be energizing. Look for burnt contacts; replacement of the PCB is usually required.
- Clean airflow path: After repair, clean lint ducts and venting to prevent future overheating and fuse failure.
