Possible Causes
Broken drive belt, Slipped belt off motor pulley, Worn idler pulley, Seized drum support roller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing panels. Sharp metal edges may be present.
- Check drum movement: Open the door and try to spin the drum by hand. If it spins very freely with little resistance and the motor runs, the belt may be broken.
- Access the belt: Remove the top and front panel (or rear panel, depending on model). Inspect the belt around the drum and motor pulley.
- Inspect belt condition: If the belt is snapped, frayed, or heavily cracked, replace it with the correct Hisense-compatible belt.
- Check idler pulley and rollers: Spin the idler pulley and drum support rollers by hand. They should rotate smoothly without noise. Replace any that are seized or noisy.
- Reinstall belt: Route the new belt around the drum, motor pulley, and idler according to the belt routing diagram (often in the service manual or inside panel). Ensure proper tension.
- Reassemble the dryer, restore power, and test. If E07 persists and the belt and rollers are good, the motor tachometer feedback or main PCB may be faulty.
