Hisense
Moisture Sensor Circuit Fault
Dryer displays E11 and cycle time behaves erratically; clothes may be overdried or underdried.

Possible Causes
Dirty or coated moisture sensor bars, Broken moisture sensor wiring, Failed moisture sensor, Faulty sensor input on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing internal wiring. Cleaning the sensor bars can be done with power off and door open.
- Locate moisture sensor bars: Inside the drum, usually near the lint filter opening, find two metal strips.
- Clean the sensor bars: Using a soft cloth and a bit of white vinegar or mild detergent, scrub the bars to remove any waxy buildup from dryer sheets or fabric softener. Dry thoroughly.
- Check wiring: Access the area behind the sensor bars from the front or rear panel. Ensure the wires are securely attached and not broken.
- Test sensor: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance across the bars while touching them with a damp cloth; resistance should change. If it remains infinite or unchanged, replace the sensor assembly.
- If cleaning and sensor replacement do not clear E11, the main PCB's sensor input circuit may be defective and require professional replacement.
