Possible Causes
Blown drum light bulb, Faulty drum light switch or door switch, Failed LED module (on LED-equipped models), Wiring fault to light
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before changing any bulbs or accessing internal wiring.
- Replace bulb: On models with a replaceable bulb, remove the lens cover inside the drum and fit a new bulb of the correct type and wattage.
- Check door switch: If the light is controlled by the door switch, test the switch for continuity when the door is open/closed. Replace if faulty.
- LED module: On LED-equipped Hoover dryers, the entire light module may need replacement if the LED fails.
