How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately switch off and unplug the dryer if you smell burning. Do not continue to use until inspected.
- Clean lint filters and condenser: Remove all filters and the condenser unit. Clean thoroughly to restore airflow.
- Inspect heater area: Remove the rear panel and inspect the heater housing for lint build-up or melted plastic. Carefully vacuum lint without damaging components.
- Check drum seals: Ensure front and rear drum seals are intact so clothing cannot contact the heater.
- Inspect wiring and motor: Look for discolored or melted insulation on wires and around the motor. If found, do not use the dryer until the damaged parts are replaced by a professional.
