E07
Hoover
Moisture Sensor / Dryness Sensor Fault
Dryer stops and shows E07; may be associated with poor drying performance

Possible Causes
Dirty or coated drum moisture sensor bars, Broken or disconnected sensor wiring, Faulty moisture sensor module, Faulty control PCB sensor circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal wiring. Cleaning the sensor bars can be done with power off and door open.
- Locate and clean sensor bars: Inside the drum, near the door opening, Hoover dryers often have two metal strips (moisture sensors). Wipe them thoroughly with a cloth dampened with white vinegar or mild soapy water to remove fabric softener and residue. Dry completely.
- Avoid dryer sheets and heavy softeners: These can coat the sensors and cause E07 or incorrect dryness readings. Reduce or eliminate their use.
- Check sensor wiring: Remove the front panel or lower access panel (model dependent) to reach the back of the sensor bars. Ensure the connectors are firmly attached and wires are not broken.
- Test continuity: With a multimeter, check continuity from the sensor bars to the control board connector. Repair any open circuits.
- Module/PCB check: If wiring and bars are fine but E07 persists, the moisture sensor module or main PCB may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
