Possible Causes

Stuck or shorted button on control panel, Damaged touch control PCB, Moisture ingress into control fascia, Faulty wiring between UI and main board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

  • Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually and ensure it returns freely. If any button feels stuck, gently clean around it and remove debris.
  • Dry moisture: If the panel has been exposed to steam or spills, allow it to dry completely. You can remove the fascia and gently dry with a hairdryer on a cool setting (do not overheat).
  • Inspect ribbon cable: Reseat the ribbon cable between the UI and main PCB. Look for corrosion on contacts.
  • Replace UI board: If E14 persists and buttons do not respond correctly, the user interface PCB may need replacement.
