Possible Causes
Blocked condensate drain channel, Blocked or kinked drain hose to tank, Faulty condensate pump (if fitted), Cracked water tank or poor seating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing panels or handling water near electrical parts.
- Empty water tank: Remove and empty the condensate tank. Check for cracks or damage and ensure it seats correctly when reinserted.
- Clean drain channel: Locate the condensate drain channel at the bottom of the condenser compartment. Remove lint and debris and flush with warm water if accessible.
- Inspect drain hose: Check the hose from the sump to the tank or pump for kinks, blockages, or disconnections. Refit or replace as needed.
- Check pump (if fitted): On models with a condensate pump, access the pump and test for operation (technician level). Replace a noisy or non-operational pump.
