Dryer produces a rattling or clunking noise when the drum turns.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before inspection.

• Inspect drum interior: Check inside the drum and around the baffles for loose objects. Remove any coins, buttons, or debris.
• Rotate drum by hand: Turn the drum slowly and listen for rattles. If noise persists, remove the rear panel to access the fan housing.
• Check fan impeller: Inspect the blower wheel for trapped objects or broken blades. Remove debris and replace a damaged impeller.
• Tighten hardware: Check and tighten any loose screws or brackets inside the cabinet.
