How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before working on the drying system.
- Clean drying duct: Remove any accessible lint from the drying air path, including filters and ducts.
- Check drying fan: Access the drying fan motor and impeller. Ensure the fan spins freely and is not obstructed. Replace the fan motor if seized or electrically open.
- Test drying heater: Measure continuity across the drying heater terminals. Replace if open.
- Inspect NTC sensor: Check the drying duct NTC for correct resistance and secure wiring. Replace if faulty.
