Water tank full indicator is on but tank is empty (condenser/heat pump models)

Steps to check:

• Clean sump area: Remove the condenser and clean the sump thoroughly, removing lint and debris that may jam the float.
• Check float movement: Locate the float (often a plastic piece in the sump) and ensure it moves freely up and down.
• Inspect tank switch: Check the switch or sensor that detects the tank's presence. Ensure the tank is fully inserted and actuating the switch.
• Test sensor: With a multimeter, test continuity of the float switch when raised and lowered. Replace if faulty.
