Dryer control panel buttons are unresponsive or respond intermittently

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing the control panel.

• Dry the panel: If the dryer is installed under a worktop or near a sink, steam or splashes may enter the panel. Allow the panel to dry completely for several hours.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel fascia and carefully disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable to the main board.
• Inspect for damage: Look for cracked buttons, corrosion, or burnt components on the interface board. Replace the user interface assembly if damaged.

If buttons remain unresponsive after these steps, the user interface or main control board may require replacement.
