Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker before inspecting the power connection.

Check outlet and breaker: Verify that the outlet has power by testing with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers or replace blown fuses in the home panel.
Inspect power cord: Check for cuts, burns, or loose connections at the rear terminal block. Tighten screws and replace damaged cords.
Check internal fuse: Some Ikea dryers have an internal fuse on the main control board or line filter. Access the board and test the fuse for continuity; replace with the same rating if blown.

If power is present at the terminal block but the dryer remains dead, the main control board or line filter may be defective and require replacement.
