Restricted Airflow / Poor Ventilation
Dryer takes too long to dry or never fully dries clothes, but appears to heat normally

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Dirty condenser or heat exchanger, Blocked vent hose (vented models), Lint buildup in internal ducts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing panels or ducts. Wear a dust mask if sensitive to lint.
- Clean lint filter thoroughly: Remove and clean the filter after every load. If coated with residue, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry completely.
- Clean condenser/heat exchanger: On condenser and heat pump models, remove the condenser from the lower front compartment and rinse under running water until clear. Let it drain before reinstalling.
- Inspect vent system (vented models): Disconnect the vent hose and check for lint clogs or crushed sections. Clean the entire run to the outside vent hood.
- Clean internal ducts: Remove rear or side panels and vacuum lint from blower housing and ducts. Take care not to damage sensors or wiring.
After restoring airflow, run a test load. If drying is still poor, check the moisture sensor bars for contamination and clean them as described in other entries.
