Possible Causes

Blocked condensate channel, Stuck float switch, Faulty level sensor, Control misreading water level

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power. Be prepared for possible water spillage when opening lower panels.

  • Inspect condensate tray: Open the lower front access and look for standing water around the condenser. Mop up any water and check for lint blocking the drain channel.
  • Clean drain channel and hose: Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to clear the small drain hole and hose leading to the tank or pump.
  • Check float switch: Locate the float mechanism (often a small plastic float in the base). Ensure it moves freely and is not jammed by lint or scale. Clean and re-seat it.

After cleaning and ensuring free movement of the float, reconnect power and test. If E13 returns, the float switch or level sensor may need replacement, or the control board may be misreading the signal.
