Possible Causes
Blocked pump inlet, Kinked pump outlet hose, Failed pump motor, Obstructed non-return valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer. Be prepared for water when disconnecting hoses.
- Access the pump: Remove the lower front or rear panel to reach the condensate pump assembly at the base.
- Clean inlet and outlet: Disconnect the inlet hose from the sump and the outlet hose to the tank. Flush both with warm water to remove lint and scale.
- Check pump impeller: Open the pump housing (if serviceable) and ensure the impeller spins freely and is not jammed by debris.
If the pump does not run when the dryer is operating and water is present, replace the condensate pump assembly.
