Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains before removing any covers.
Communication line checks:
- Access control boards: Remove the top cover and front control fascia to expose both the main PCB and the display/UI board.
- Inspect connectors: Unplug and replug the multi-pin connectors between the boards. Look for bent pins or corrosion.
- Check harness continuity: Use a multimeter to verify continuity of each wire in the harness. Replace the harness if any conductor is open.
- Visual inspection: Look for burn marks or component damage on either board.
Resolution: If wiring is intact and F12 persists, either the main PCB or the display board is defective. Replacement of one or both boards may be required and is best done by a qualified technician.
