Indesit dryer emits a rattling or metallic clinking noise during operation

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the dryer before inspecting.

Locate and remove objects:

• Check drum interior: Inspect inside the drum and inside each baffle for loose items such as coins, buttons, or bra wires.
• Inspect drum edges: Rotate the drum slowly and look along the front and rear seals for objects caught between the drum and cabinet.
• Check blower fan: Remove the rear or side panel to access the blower housing. Remove any debris from the fan blades.

Reassemble and test: After removing foreign objects, run a short cycle to confirm the noise has disappeared.
