Safety first: Unplug the dryer and remove the water tank.

Sensor checks:

Clean tank and contacts: Rinse the tank and clean any electrical contacts or magnets used for level detection.
Inspect float in base: Remove the lower front or side panel and locate the float chamber. Ensure the float moves freely and is not stuck by lint or scale. Clean thoroughly.
Test switch: Use a multimeter to test the float switch or level sensor for correct operation as the float moves.
Check wiring: Verify continuity from the sensor to the main PCB.

After repair: Refit the tank, restore power, and confirm that the tank full indicator only lights when the tank is actually full.
