Dryer drum light does not turn on when the door is opened.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the bulb or accessing the light socket.

• Replace the bulb: Remove the lens cover inside the drum, unscrew the bulb, and install a new appliance-rated bulb of the correct wattage.
• Test the door switch: If the new bulb does not light, test the door switch for continuity when the door is open/closed. Replace if faulty.
• Inspect the socket: Check for corrosion or loose wires at the light socket. Tighten or replace as needed.
