Dryer displays PF (Power Failure) and may stop mid-cycle or not resume

Safety First: If you suspect wiring issues, turn off the breaker before inspecting connections.

Steps:

• Clear code: Press Start to resume the cycle or press Cancel to clear the PF code.
• Check breaker: Ensure the dryer breaker is fully in the ON position and not partially tripped.
• Inspect cord and outlet: Verify the plug is fully inserted and the cord is not loose or damaged. Replace a frayed or burned cord.
• Terminal block check: Remove the rear cover and inspect the terminal block for loose screws or burned connections. Tighten and repair as needed.
