Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off the breaker before inspecting the terminal block. Use a multimeter only if you understand electrical safety.
- Step 1 – Check breaker: Ensure the double‑pole breaker for the dryer is fully ON. Reset by turning fully OFF then ON.
- Step 2 – Measure voltage: With power ON, measure between L1 and L2 at the outlet (should be ~240 VAC) and from each leg to neutral (~120 VAC). If one leg is missing, contact an electrician.
- Step 3 – Inspect terminal block and cord: Turn power OFF. Remove the rear cover and inspect the terminal block for loose or burnt connections. Tighten screws and replace any burnt parts or damaged cord.
After correcting the supply issue, restore power and test the dryer. If F73 persists with correct voltage, the main control’s voltage sensing circuit may be faulty.
