Controls do not respond; CL is displayed; dryer will not start even though power is on.

Safety: No internal work required for basic reset.

Steps:

• Disable child lock: Press and hold the designated Child Lock buttons (often Temp + Dry Level or similar) for 3–5 seconds until CL disappears. Refer to your user manual for the exact button combination.
• Check button function: If CL will not clear, some buttons may be stuck. Gently press each button several times to free it.
• Power reset: Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try disabling Child Lock again.
• UI board: If CL remains and buttons do not respond, the control panel (UI board) may be faulty and require replacement.
