Dryer drum light stays on even when the door is closed (models with drum light)

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing the door switch.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and is not obstructed by clothing or damage.
• Inspect door strike: Check the plastic strike on the door for cracks or wear. Replace if it does not engage the switch properly.
• Test door switch: Locate the door switch on the cabinet front. Press it manually and see if the light goes off (with power connected briefly and safely). If not, the switch is likely faulty.
• Replace switch: Remove the retaining screws, disconnect the wires, and fit a new Logik-compatible door switch.
