Possible Causes
Door not fully closed, Faulty door switch, Child lock enabled, Incorrect program or delayed start selected
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure hands are dry when operating controls.
- Check door closure: Open and firmly close the door. Listen for the latch engaging. If the door feels loose, inspect the latch and strike for damage.
- Verify child lock: Many Logik dryers have a child lock function. Look for a key or lock symbol on the display. Disable it by holding the indicated button combination (refer to user manual).
- Cancel delay start: If a delayed start is set, the dryer will not begin immediately. Cancel the delay or wait for the countdown to finish.
- Test door switch: If the drum light does not turn off when the door is closed (on models with drum light), the door switch may be faulty and should be replaced.
