Dryer stops with water tank empty symbol lit, but the tank is already empty

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing the tank housing.

• Remove and reseat tank: Take out the water tank, empty it, and reinstall it firmly until it clicks.
• Clean tank contacts: If your model uses electrical contacts on the tank, clean them with a dry cloth to remove residue.
• Check float and switch: Access the tank housing area and inspect the float mechanism and switch. Ensure the float moves freely and is not jammed by lint.
• Replace level switch: If the switch does not change state when the float moves, replace the water tank level switch.
