Possible Causes
Blocked condensate pump filter, Failed condensate pump motor, Blocked internal drain hose, Float switch stuck in pump reservoir
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer. Be prepared for water spillage when opening the lower access panels.
- Access the pump area: Remove the lower front kick panel or rear lower panel (model dependent). Locate the small pump housing and reservoir near the condenser.
- Clean the pump filter and reservoir: Remove any accessible filter or cover on the pump housing. Scoop out lint, sludge, and debris. Wipe the reservoir clean with a cloth and ensure the float moves freely up and down.
- Check the drain hose: Follow the small hose from the pump to the water tank or outlet. Look for kinks, blockages, or disconnections. Flush the hose with warm water if possible.
- Test the pump (if safe to do so): With the dryer reassembled but still accessible, plug it in and start a cycle. Listen for the pump running intermittently. If it hums but does not move water, or is silent when the reservoir is full, the pump may be faulty.
- Replace the pump if necessary: If cleaning does not restore operation and E07 persists, the condensate pump assembly should be replaced with the correct Logik-compatible part.
