Possible Causes
Loose or broken drive belt, Worn idler pulley or drum support rollers, Faulty motor tachometer sensor, Loose motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing top, front, or rear panels.
- Check belt condition: Remove the top cover and inspect the belt around the drum. If the belt is off the pulley, frayed, or snapped, replace it with the correct size for your Logik model.
- Inspect idler pulley and rollers: With the front or rear panel removed, spin the idler pulley and any drum support rollers by hand. They should rotate smoothly without grinding or wobble. Replace any noisy or seized pulleys/rollers.
- Check motor connections: Ensure the motor plug is fully seated and that no wires are loose or burnt. Reseat the connector.
- Motor tachometer (if fitted): Some motors have a small tacho coil or sensor at the rear. Inspect for damage or dislodged magnets. If the control cannot read drum speed, it may trigger E08.
- Test run: After reassembly, run a cycle with a light load. If E08 returns and the drum stops or jerks, the motor or control PCB may need professional testing and replacement.
